Steve Antry – Chief Executive Officer
and Chairman of the Board
Prior to founding Eagle in 2009, Mr. Steve Antry was Founder, Chairman and CEO of Beta Oil & Gas, Inc. Mr. Antry led Beta through its initial public offering and onto growth that ranked Beta as number 125 in the Oil and Gas Journal’s top 200 oil & gas producers in the U.S. In 2004, Mr. Antry successfully merged Beta with Houston based PetroHawk Energy, LLC (NYSE:HK), providing their initial platform that ultimately placed PetroHawk as one of the top 25 oil & gas producers in the U.S. In July of 2011, PetroHawk agreed to sell to
BHP Billiton for $15 billion.
Mr. Antry also previously served on various public and private industry Boards and has held management positions in exploration, development, land management and capital formation with various companies including Benton Oil & Gas Company (now Harvest Resources (NYSE:HNR)), Swift Energy (NYSE:SFY), and Nerco Oil & Gas (a division of Pacific Power & Light).
Mr. Antry has over 30 years of industry experience and is from a third generation Oklahoma oil family, receiving his BBA (1977) and MBA (1978) degrees with an emphasis in finance from Texas Christian University.
Additionally, he was a nominee for Entrepreneur of the Year
for the past two years by the accounting firm of Ernst and
Young. |

Michael O’Kelley – President and Chief Operating Officer
Prior to joining Eagle, Mr.
O’Kelley spent five years as Operation Engineer and Project Leader
for Newfield Exploration Mid-Continent, Inc., a major E&P company
with a $6.5 billion dollar market capitalization, ~3 Tcfe of
reserves and ~700 Mmcfe per day of production. While at Newfield he
was District Manager/Operations Engineer for the newly acquired CBM
properties located in NE Oklahoma. Mr. O’Kelley managed a 24+ person
staff as he directed the drilling, completion, daily production, and
construction of related facilities (compression, pipeline, and
electric) for 80+ newly drilled CBM wells which increased the total
CBM well count to 400+ and added 3 Mmcf per day to the production
base. He was then transferred and assigned to develop and manage the
new production and completions operations group for the newly
emerging Woodford Shale development in SE Oklahoma. As Project
Leader, he was directly responsible for first line management of
over 400 wells, including 300+ newly drilled horizontal shale wells.
His production staff increased from 2 company employees delivering
15 mmcf/d to 30+ full time employees producing over 300 mmcf/d. He
was also directly responsible for the design and construction of
pipelines, gathering systems, well site production facilities, and
central production and compression facilities for all Newfield wells
located in the Oklahoma Arkoma Basin.
Previously, Mr. O’Kelley spent two years working as Vice President of
Drilling and Production for Rockford Energy Partners, LLC, a private
E&P Company where he re-organized and managed all Oklahoma coalbed
methane operations, including 300+ operated wells, 200+ mile
gathering system, and a 24 person staff.
From 1991 until 2002, he worked in a drilling, completion, and
production management capacity as Operations Manager for Beard Oil
Company (OKC) and Vice President of Operations for Canaan Energy (OKC),
both E&P companies working in the Mid-Continent and Arkoma Basins of
Oklahoma. From 1979 until 1991 he worked for various Oklahoma based
E&P companies in drilling and completion engineering capacity. He
began his career in the oil field working as a Roughneck and Driller
for an Arkoma Basin company.
Mr. O’Kelley was honorably discharged from the United States Navy in
1972 and received his Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering
from the University of Oklahoma. |

Ben C. Kemendo, CPA, CFE – Chief Financial Officer
For the previous 26 years Mr. Kemendo has been a partner with Woodrum, Kemendo, Tate & Westemeir, PLLC, a private accounting and consulting firm located in Tulsa. While there, he provided tax, accounting and financial consulting services to a broad range of clients, including numerous oil and gas related entities. During the course of his public accounting career, Mr. Kemendo effectively functioned as the chief financial officer for many of his clients. In addition, Mr. Kemendo has served as an interim chief executive officer and the chief financial officer of a variety of businesses at the request of boards of directors or at the pleasure of the Courts. Further, Mr. Kemendo has been appointed by both federal and state courts as a receiver over operating and liquidating businesses.
Prior to forming his own accounting firm, Mr. Kemendo began his public accounting career in 1977 with Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co. Initially, Mr. Kemendo was assigned to the audit department where his clients included both public and private exploration and production companies. Thereafter, Mr. Kemendo transferred to the tax department where he specialized in oil and gas taxation.
